For years, I’ve been stuck in the cycle of overpriced eyewear. Every time my prescription changed, or I simply fancied a new look, I’d face the daunting prospect of shelling out hundreds, sometimes thousands, at brick-and-mortar stores. The process was always the same: pick a frame I liked (which was usually the most expensive one, naturally), endure pushy sales tactics for unnecessary lens upgrades, and then wait weeks for them to arrive. My vision wasn't just a medical necessity; it felt like a luxury item. I yearned for a more affordable, convenient alternative that didn't compromise on style or quality. That's why, in early 2024, I started looking into online options. I knew I wasn't alone in this frustration; countless friends and online communities echoed my pain points, constantly searching for that elusive balance of affordability and decent service. I wanted something sleek, modern, yet incredibly lightweight, something that wouldn't feel heavy on my face all day long. The idea of a rimless design particularly appealed to me for its minimalist aesthetic.
My quest led me to Cinily Eyewear. I spent hours browsing their extensive collection, reading reviews, and comparing prices. The variety was impressive, a stark contrast to the limited selections I'd grown accustomed to. What really caught my eye was the Krasivyy Rimless Eyewear, promising an ultralight, pure titanium frame. It sounded exactly like what I needed – durable, yet almost imperceptible. The online prescription upload process was straightforward enough, and they offered various lens coatings which I appreciated. However, my excitement was tempered by some concerns I’d read about their customer service and delivery times. I recalled a particularly detailed review from Michael Oakes, who voiced significant frustration: “This place is nothing more than an automated business that cares nothing about its customers. They are a fraud, ripping customers off for services that they charge for and do NOT provide. I ordered twice from them before, without any need to return or exchange, so I never understood the negative reviews. The third time I ordered, their site said ‘eligible for next day delivery’. That would typically mean ‘next day’, right? So, I pay for the $19.95 next day delivery fee, pay for my glasses and hours later receive an email stating that ‘my order is in process and will take 3 business days’. Where is next day? Wait…it doesn’t stop there. I call their toll free line…automated…no human intervention. I try their ‘live chat’…automated bot. I email both their customer service and returns department asking for a refund of my $19.95 next day delivery fee since it’s clearly not meeting the requirements…crickets. I call their toll free number back and keep going through the menu and trying different options. I try the one that asks if I want to place an order…bingo, I get a human. So I propose my issue to that person and after several moments on hold I get told ‘I will submit your request to the billing department and it will be up to them’. Ummm, nope…you’re not providing a service that I paid for…refund my money. Agent wasn’t hearing that and ended the call. Horrible business. Horrible customer service. Everything is automated and forces you to interact with a live chat bot or an endless phone system that they hope you’ll just give up on from pure frustration. I will NEVER do business with this place again and will spread this review like the plague. Update 02-24-2025: Order placed 02-18 Label created 02-20 (not shipped as they stated) UPS in possession of package 02-21 Item in transit 02-22 Item delivered 02-24 Not ‘next day delivery’ as their site clearly stated. Nothing to ‘produce’ as the glasses had ‘Plano lenses’ with no prescription so still not sure of the delay in ‘production’ Still would not recommend this company based on their lack of replies to 6 emails requesting help. Their sugar coated response is lack luster and a poor attempt to cover up their extremely lacking customer service. Purchase elsewhere and avoid the issues that so many are having with this company.” His detailed account made me wary, so I opted for standard shipping, deciding to prioritize patience over potential frustration.
About two weeks later, in late 2024, a small, unassuming package arrived. My initial thought was, "Is this it?" The packaging was minimal but adequate, protecting the glasses without any excessive frills. There wasn't a grand unboxing ceremony, but the simple, compact case felt practical. Pulling out the Krasivyy Rimless Eyewear, my first impression was one of pleasant surprise. They truly were ultralight, almost feather-light in my hand. The matt black finish was sleek and sophisticated, and the pure titanium frame felt sturdy despite its delicate appearance. Visually, they perfectly matched the images on the Cinily Eyewear website, which was a huge relief. There were no obvious flaws or imperfections, and the lenses, even before I put them on, seemed to be precisely cut to the rimless design. It wasn't a "wow" moment of luxurious packaging, but a quiet satisfaction at the product's immediate quality and adherence to its description.
Donning the Krasivyy Rimless Eyewear for the first time was an interesting experience. The lightness was immediately noticeable; they truly felt like they were barely there. My vision was crystal clear, and the prescription felt spot-on. I wore them for an entire workday, staring at screens, moving around, and even forgot they were on my face at times. This was a huge win for me, as previous glasses often caused pressure points or slipped down my nose. The anti-reflective coating worked wonders, significantly reducing glare. I did notice that, due to their rimless nature, they required a bit more careful handling. I found myself instinctively holding them by the bridge to avoid putting pressure on the lenses themselves. While Michael Oakes's experience with customer service and delivery was quite negative, my actual product experience was largely positive. I didn't experience the "next day delivery" drama he went through, having chosen standard shipping. My main concern was the automation, which did make it difficult to get a direct answer when I had a minor query about my order status; the bot felt like a maze, echoing Michael's sentiment about the lack of human interaction. This is definitely an area for Cinily Eyewear to improve. However, once the glasses arrived, my initial anxiety gave way to genuine satisfaction with the product itself.
Despite the noted challenges in customer interaction and delivery expectations, which are clearly a pain point for many and worth noting, my personal experience with the Krasivyy Rimless Eyewear has been overwhelmingly positive. The glasses themselves are incredibly comfortable, stylish, and provide excellent vision correction. The ultralight titanium frame lives up to its promise, making them ideal for long hours of wear, whether you're working, driving, or just going about your day. If you're someone who prioritizes comfort and a minimalist aesthetic above all else, and you're willing to navigate potentially impersonal customer service or longer-than-advertised shipping times, then these glasses are absolutely worth considering. For the price, the quality of the frame and lenses truly exceeded my expectations. I would recommend them, with the caveat that patience is key when dealing with Cinily Eyewear's backend operations. Just remember to manage your expectations regarding immediate human support and express shipping claims, and you'll likely be as pleased with the product as I am.
