Dishonest Deals & Glitchy Site: My BOGO Nightmare & Customer Service Fail! 😤
I'm here to share a truly terrible online shopping experience, hoping it serves as a cautionary tale for others. My recent purchase was nothing short of a nightmare, proving to be utterly Dishonest, doesn't honor promos. The website was full of glitches, making it impossible to collect the offer I was promised. What's worse, there's no customer service 24 hours, no agent easily reachable, making the whole process incredibly Unprofessional. I felt compelled to leave this review and try to resolve things with customer service because their proposed solution for the BOGO they messed up and admitted was to Return them (even though their correct style and prescription) to RETURN AND REORDER to get the bogo they messed up and admitted. Why couldn't they just Credit back to my card used? Nah that's too easy for them, apparently. It's a completely unfair situation.
Customer: I'm calling about an order I placed. I tried to use a BOGO promotion, but your website glitched, and it didn't apply. Now I'm being told I have to return my perfectly fine glasses and reorder to get the promo. That's ridiculous. CS Rep: I sincerely apologize for the technical difficulties you experienced and for the frustration this has caused. I understand you'd prefer not to return your glasses, especially since they are the correct style and prescription. Customer: Exactly! Why can't you just credit the difference back to my card? This whole process of returning and reordering for your mistake is completely inconvenient and unfair. CS Rep: I hear your frustration, and I agree that a direct credit would be a much simpler solution from your perspective.
