19 Days and Still Blind: My Express Shipping Nightmare š¤
I'm here to share my absolutely terrible online shopping experience, hoping it serves as a cautionary tale. I ordered glasses on March 30th, paying for express 3-5 day shipping because my old ones broke. Day 5 rolled around, and they were still in production. By day 10, still nothing. Day 11, I called to demand a shipping refund, and while I got the $10 back, they told me my glasses were still 6 days out on delivery. Now it's day 19, and I still have no glasses! I felt compelled to leave this review and engage customer service because this company just doesn't seem to care about its customers.
Customer: My order from March 30th, with express shipping, is now on day 19, and I still don't have my glasses! I paid extra because my old ones broke, and this is completely unacceptable. CS Rep: I understand your frustration with the delay, and I sincerely apologize. Let me pull up your order number and see what's happening. Customer: You already refunded my shipping on day 11, but that doesn't fix the fact that I'm essentially blind without my glasses. Why is it taking so long when I paid for express? CS Rep: I see the shipping refund was processed. While express shipping typically expedites transit once shipped, production times can sometimes fluctuate. It shows your order is now in final quality check and should be dispatched within the next 24-48 hours. Customer: Another 24-48 hours? After 19 days? This is ridiculous! I'm telling everyone I know to avoid your terrible company. CS Rep: I truly regret the inconvenience this has caused. As a gesture of apology, I can offer a 15% credit on your next purchase, in addition to ensuring your current order ships as soon as possible.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
