Lately, I'd been feeling a persistent strain in my eyes 👀, especially after long hours ⏰ in front of the screen 💻.

Lately, I'd been feeling a persistent strain in my eyes, especially after long hours in front of the screen. My old glasses, a trusty pair that had served me well for years, were starting to feel inadequate, almost as if my world was slightly out of focus. It wasn't just about clarity; it was the headaches, the constant squinting, and the nagging feeling that I was missing out on the crispness of everyday life. I knew it was time for an upgrade, not just in prescription, but in style too. I wanted something fresh, modern, yet timeless. A friend had recently raved about finding stylish frames online for a fraction of what they'd paid at brick-and-mortar stores, which immediately piqued my interest. This sounded like the perfect solution to my pain points – convenience, affordability, and the chance to find a unique look that wasn't available everywhere.

The search for the perfect pair began online, as I much prefer the comfort of browsing from my couch. I scoured countless websites, comparing styles, prices, and available lens options. Cinily Eyewear kept popping up in my searches, offering a wide selection and what seemed like competitive pricing. I was particularly drawn to their Clear Frame Gregory Peck Myopia Glasses, as the transparent acetate frame had a classic, intellectual vibe I loved. The ordering process, however, was a bit of a rollercoaster. I remembered reading a review from Michael Connolly who shared, "Web site was so messed up it took me 2-1/2 hours to purchase two pairs of glasses. I was not able to type in my prescription and save it to continue my purchase. so I will have to be sent an email so i can type in the information that i already typed in on your silly web site." While my experience wasn't quite as long, I did encounter some glitches when trying to upload my prescription, which meant I had to email it separately, delaying the finalization of my order. After what felt like an eternity of clicking and troubleshooting, my order for the Clear Frame Gregory Peck Myopia Glasses was finally placed in late 2024. Then began the wait, filled with a mix of eager anticipation and a little anxiety, wondering if these online glasses would truly live up to the hype.

A few weeks later, in early 2025, a package from Cinily Eyewear finally arrived. The anticipation was palpable as I carefully unboxed it. The packaging was simple and functional, a sturdy case nestled within a protective box, nothing overtly luxurious but certainly adequate for safeguarding the precious cargo. As I pulled out the Clear Frame Gregory Peck Myopia Glasses, I was immediately struck by the aesthetic. The clear acetate was even more stylish in person, and the frame felt surprisingly solid and well-constructed for the price. The quality of the frame exceeded my expectations, a pleasant surprise that echoed Denise LeFrancois's experience: "I didn't really expect too much quality in the actual glasses but I was proven wrong! I am happy to report that they sell quality frames…" The lenses, too, looked crystal clear, and the overall fit felt good. My initial impression was certainly positive, a sense of quiet satisfaction washing over me.

Now for the real test: actual use. The moment I put on my new Clear Frame Gregory Peck Myopia Glasses, the world snapped into perfect focus. The clarity was outstanding, and my eyes immediately felt less strained. I had opted for the water and fingerprint protection coating, a decision I wholeheartedly recommend as the lenses stay remarkably clean throughout the day. This aligns perfectly with Denise LeFrancois's observation: "I did pay for the water and fingerprint protection coating and it has proven to be a wise choice!" However, my journey wasn't entirely without bumps. Denise also mentioned, "The customer service is the among the worst I have ever experienced," and "Don't expect to hear from anyone if you reach out by email. Don't expect to really get help with the \"chat\"…" I had a minor issue with the fit, which required a slight adjustment. Getting a hold of a live person for help, as Kevin Carroll also noted, "It’s been Impossible to get ahold of a live person to actually help get this resolved," proved challenging, making a simple fix a frustrating ordeal. The email responses were slow, and the chat felt automated, confirming the recurring theme of poor customer support. Denise LeFrancois elaborates on her experience with the company's service: "Firstly, be aware that the company replies to every negative review with the same answer….\"there was an issue with the product so it had to be remade\"! Garbage answer. I was ripped off for express shipping on several pairs and would never do that again! Look, I tried in vain to leave a review on the website, where my glasses are listed, but that doesn't work. So after about a 10 minute search I finally am able to leave a review! The customer service is the among the worst I have ever experienced. Just so you know, don't bother paying for the faster shipping because you still will have to wait a few weeks to get your glasses. So save yourself that money as it will only get your glasses to you in about 2 days sooner. Not worth that money. Moving on…..I didn't really expect too much quality in the actual glasses but I was proven wrong! I am happy to report that they sell quality frames and the lenses are superior to what I have gotten at Lens Crafters! And that is saying a lot! I did pay for the water and fingerprint protection coating and it has proven to be a wise choice! Don't expect to hear from anyone if you reach out by email. Don't expect to really get help with the \"chat\", even though you will be transferred to \"live agent\", or so they say. I am not sold on that as truth. I would have given them a 5 star but the worst ever customer service brings it down to a 3 star. What a shame. They have such a great opportunity to sweep the market for online glasses but they failed and it's all due to NO CUSTOMER SERVICE! They are the only ones to make a Bifocal lens..Not progressive, they also make those, but an actual LINED BIFOCAL, which is my preference. The height of the bifocal is a tad low for me, so still getting used to that. So, if you do order a bifocal, have your eye doctor give the correct height that you can pass on to Cinily Eyewear…..they have a standard height which is NOT for everyone. The true height of the bifocal is measured on a 1:1 and goes by the individual eyes. Finally, I also read in other review that they only accept ONE glass for return. THIS IS NOT TRUE. I have sent back 3 pairs so far and may not be done until I find the perfect pair for my face. THEY DO REFUND YOUR MONEY ON ALL GLASSES SENT IN FOR RETURN! Just be reasonable and return them within 14 days. Sadly, I have another pair of everyday wear coming that may fit my face better. But then I will be stuck with the pair I am currently wearing because this current pair is now 3 days past the 14 day window. Should I try to ask for help with this from the company? Yes, I should. Will I? No way will I because they have no one to help you!! I actually just changed the 3 star to a 2 star because of the piss poor customer service. Laughable." This detailed account perfectly encapsulates the customer service paradox: good product, frustrating support.

Despite the customer service hiccups, which Cinily Eyewear's response to Denise stated, "Recently, we improved our self-service to make it easier for our customers to access it 24/7. You can reach our Customer Care team for assistance everyday from 7 am to midnight EST at 1-844-244-1186. You can also reach us 24/7 on Live Chat at Cinily Eyewear for any other inquiry," my overall satisfaction with the product itself remains high. The Clear Frame Gregory Peck Myopia Glasses are undeniably stylish and provide excellent visual correction. The quality of the frames and lenses for the price point is truly impressive. I'd say they are "objectively good, but the buying and support process can be a test of patience." I would recommend Cinily Eyewear for those who are confident in their prescription, don't anticipate needing much customer support, and are looking for a stylish, high-quality pair of glasses without the premium price tag. Just be prepared for potential delays or communication challenges if you run into any issues.
